Project Build will raise the funds necessary to erect a new building which will address two major needs identified by the society in 2003:

The current facility at 555 Fuller Avenue has served well since 1953 but it is now too old, too small and, most importantly, too far beyond repair or renovation. The needs of some in the community cannot be addressed because of the building’s limitations. Satellite facilities have been brought into service but not without significant inefficiencies.

Second, to offer opportunities for independent living. Low rental accommodation in our community are in short supply for those most in need. Eleven affordable housing units are proposed to be included in the new facility.
